Ultra Fusion™ is a lubricant eye drops used for
the temporary relief of burning, irritation, and
discomfort due to dryness of the eye or due to
exposure to wind or sun. May be used as a
protectant against further irritation.
Ultra Fusion™ is unique dual-action formula
provides long-lasting comfort. Ultra Fusion™
lubricates the surface of the eye and moisturizes
the ocular surface cells by restoring natural
osmotic balance.
The mode of action of Carboxymethylcellulose
sodium is based on its physical properties which
provides a lubricant effect and prolonged
residence time on the eye.
Carboxymethylcellulose sodium increases tear
viscosity and has pseudoelastic (i.e. shear
thinning) properties. Since Carboxymethyl
cellulose sodium is an ionic polymer containing
carboxyl and hydroxyl groups, its chemical
structure is similar to mucin in the tear film, and
thus it has mucoadhesive properties. These
properties promote prolonged residence time on
the eye which alleviate the symptoms of tear
deficiency.

Do not use Ultra Fusion™
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) any of the
other ingredients of Ultra Fusion™ (see section 6
“Further information”.
Take special care with Ultra Fusion™
To avoid contamination or possible eye injury, do
not touch tip of the bottle to any surface and avoid
contact with the eye. Replace the cap after use. Do
not use if Ultra Fusion™ packaging shows
evidence of tampering. Do not use if solution
changes color or becomes cloudy. Discontinue use
of Ultra Fusion™ and consult a doctor if you
experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued
redness or irritation of the eye, or if the condition
worsens. Use before the expiration date marked
on the container.
Using other medicines
No known drug interactions.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
There are no specific study data on the use of
Ultra Fusion™ during pregnancy and lactation in
humans; however, animal studies with CMC have
not demonstrated any harmful effects in
pregnancy. Animal studies using glycerine have
shown no evidence of teratogenicity.
Ultra Fusion™ has not been studied in
breast-feeding women; however Ultra Fusion™ is
not expected to have significant systemic
absorption; therefore, it would not be excreted in
human breast milk.
Pediatric use
Safety and effectiveness have not been
demonstrated with Ultra Fusion™ in pediatric
patients.
Geriatric use
No overall differences in safety or effectiveness
have been observed between elderly and other
adult patients.
Driving and using machines
Ultra Fusion™ may cause transient blurring of
vision which may impair the ability to drive or
operate machines. The patient should wait until
their vision has cleared before driving or using
machinery.

Use Ultra Fusion™ exactly as the doctor has
instructed you. Ultra Fusion™ is to be used only
as eye drops.
Instill 1-2 drops in to the conjunctival sac of the
eye(s) as often as needed.
Instructions for using eye drops
- Unscrew the cap from the bottle, check the
dropper is clean.
- Pull your lower eyelid gently down, and then
carefully instil one drop inside the lower eyelid, in
the corner closest to the nose.
- Release the lower eyelid, and blink a few times
to make sure the eye is covered by the liquid.
- Repeat the procedure for your other eye.
- When you have finished, replace the protective
cap tightly to prevent spilling or spoilage.

Eye Pain , eye discharge, eye irritation, Eyelid
edema, Foreign body sensation in eyes, increased
lacrimation, Eye swelling, hypersensitivity.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
• Do not store above 30 OC.
• Ultra Fusion™ eye drops are sterile when first
opened, it is important to keep the drops as clean
as possible during use.
• Discard after 3 months of opening.
