Dexipan cream contains the active ingredient dexpanthenol.
The active substance dexpanthenol is converted in the skin into the vitamin pantothenic acid and support the development and regeneration of the skin from within. The cream has soothing and cooling effect thanks to its high moisture content.
Dexipan cream is used for treating overstressed and irritated but unbroken skin associated with:
• Redness and sunburn
• Pressure marks
• Mild burns
• Rough areas of skin (e.g. on the hands, elbows or feet)
You should not use Dexipan, if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to one or more of the ingredients in the product (see “what Dexipan contains?”)
Take special care with Dexipan in the following situations:
No special precautions are required provided that the product is used as directed. Inform your doctor or pharmacist, if you:
• suffer from any other illnesses,
• have allergies or,
• are taking or extremely applying any other medicines (including those you purchase yourself)
Using Dexipan during pregnancy or while breast-feeding
Dexipan may be used during pregnancy and while breast-feeding.
Important information about some of the ingredients of Dexipan
Dexipan cream contains methyl paraben and propyl paraben. These may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
Always use Dexipan exactly as your doctor has told you. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Apply Dexipan once to several times daily as required.
Always use the dosage described in this leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If you think that the effect of the medicine is too weak or too strong, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects of dexpanthenol have only rarely been observed to date. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any unusual skin reactions.

By reporting side effects, you can help provide more information on the safety of this medicine
- Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
- Do not use Dexipan after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and on the tube.
- Store below 30°C. Best use within one month of opening.
- Do not use Dexipan if you notice any visible sign of deterioration.
- Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.
What Dexipan contains
The active ingredient is Dexpanthenol.
Each 100gm of the cream contains 5gm of Dexpanthenol.
The other ingredients: White soft paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, lanolin anhydrous, liquid paraffin, propylene glycol, methyl paraben, propyl paraben, tween 60, simethicone M30, lavender oil, rose oil, and purified water

يحتوي كريم دكسيبان على المادة الفعالة دكسبانثينول والتي يتم تحويلها في الجلد إلى فيتامين حمض البانتوثينيك والذي يدعم نمو وتجديد البشرة من الداخل.
يمتلك الكريم تأثيراً مبرداً ومهدئاً ويعود الفضل في ذلك إلى محتواه العالي من الرطوبة.
يستخدم كريم دكسيبان في علاج الجلد السليم شديد الإجهاد والمتهيج المصحوب في حدوث:
• احمرار الجلد والحروق الناجمة عن التعرض لأشعة الشمس
• علامات الضغط
• الحروق الطفيفة
• مناطق الجلد الخشنة (على سبيل المثال في اليدين، المرفقين أو القدمين)
يجب عليك عدم استعمال دكسيبان إذا كنت تعاني من الحساسية (فرط الحساسية) تجاه إحدى مكوناته أو أكثر (انظر «ما هي محتويات دكسيبان»)
يجب توخي الحذر أثناء فترة استعمال دكسيبان في الحالات التالية:
لا يتطلب اتخاذ أية احتياطات خاصة، وذلك عند استعمال هذا الدواء وفقاً للتعليمات الموصى بها. يرجى منك إخبار طبيبك المعالج أو الصيدلي الذي تتعامل معه إذا كنت:
• تعاني من أية حالات مرضية أخرى.
• إذا كنت تعاني من الحساسية.
• إذا كنت تتناول أو تستعمل أية أدوية أخرى بشكل مفرط (بما في ذلك الأدوية التي تصرف دون وصفة طبية).
استعمال دكسيبان أثناء فترة الحمل أو الرضاعة الطبيعية
قد يتم استعمال دكسيبان أثناء فترة الحمل والرضاعة الطبيعية.
معلومات هامة حول بعض مكونات دكسيبان
يحتوي كريم دكسيبان على ميثيل البارابين وبروبيل البارابين. قد تسبب هذه المواد حدوث تفاعلات تحسسية (من المحتمل أن تحدث بصورة متأخرة).
يجب عليك دائماً استعمال دكسيبان بدقة وفقاً لتعليمات طبيبك المعالج. يرجى منك استشارة طبيبك المعالج أو الصيدلي الذي تتعامل معه مالم تكن متاكداً من طريقة الاستعمال.
قم بوضع دكسيبان مرة واحدة أو عدة مرات في اليوم حسب الحاجة.
يجب عليك وضع الجرعة كما هو موصى به في هذه النشرة أو وفقاً لتعليمات طبيبك المعالج. يرجى منك استشارة طبيبك المعالج أو الصيدلي الذي تتعامل معه، إذا كنت تعتقد أن تأثير هذا الدواء ضعيف جداً أو قوي جداً.

قد تحدث التأثيرات الجانبية التالية أثناء فترة استعمال كريم دكسبانثينول.

- يحفظ بعيداً عن متناول ومرأى الأطفال.
- يجب عدم استعمال دكسيبان بعد تاريخ انتهاء الصلاحية المذكور على العبوة والأنبوب.
- يحفظ في درجة حرارة أقل من 30°م. يفضل استعماله خلال شهر واحد من الفتح.
- يجب عدم استعمال دكسيبان إذا لاحظت أي علامات تلف واضحة.
- يجب عدم التخلص من الأدوية عبر المياه المبتذلة (مياه الصرف الصحي) أو النفايات المنزلية. اسأل الصيدلي الذي تتعامل معه عن كيفية التخلص من الأدوية التي لم تعد بحاجة إليها. ستساعد هذه الإجراءات على حماية البيئة.
ماهي محتويات دكسيبان
المادة الفعالة هي دكسبانثينول.
يحتوي كل 100 غرام من الكريم على 5 غرام من دكسبانثينول.
المواد الغير فعالة: بارافين أبيض طري، كحول سيتوستيريل، لانولين لا مائي، بارافين سائل، بروبيلين جلايكول، ميثيل البارابين، بروبيل البارابين، توين 60، سيميثيكون إم 30، زيت اللافندر، زيت الورد، وماء منقى.
يتوفر كريم دكسيبان في عبوات تحتوي كلاً منها على أنبوبة سعة 20 غرام أو مضخة سعة 50 غرام.

For cutaneous use only, which means it is applied directly to the affected area of skin.
How to apply the cream

Being a topical preparation with local action, no drug interactions have been reported with its use.

Dexpanthenol, the active ingredient of Dexipan, is necessary for normal epithelial function, as it is rapidly converted in skin cells to pantothenic acid, which plays a part in both the formation and the regeneration of the skin.
Dexpanthenol is readily converted to pantothenic acid which is widely distributed into body tissues, mainly as coenzyme A.
