Do not take this medicine if you
o are allergic to Simethicone or any of the other ingredients
Please see your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you
o have an intolerance to some sugars
o are taking levothyroxine for thyroid disorders
Pregnancy and breast feeding
If you are pregnant, see your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking these tablets. They may be taken if you are breastfeeding
Information about some of the ingredients in this medicine
Contains sorbitol. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product
Other medicines and FLATICON Chewable Tablets
If you are being treated with levothyroxine for a thyroid disorder, using Flaticon might reduce the amount of this type of medicine that is absorbed and weaken the effect of your treatment
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Take this medicine by mouth
Chew the tablet before swallowing. To be taken after meals or at bedtime
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years
2-3 tablet, 3 or 4 times a day or as required. Do not take more than 500mg in any 24 hour period
Do not give to children under 12 years of age
Do not exceed the stated dose
If your symptoms persist or worsen, you must see a doctor or pharmacist
If you take too many tablets by mistake, contact your doctor or pharmacist straight away
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist
Like all medicines this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody will get them
If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist
If you experience any of the following stop using the medicine and seek immediate medical help
allergic reactions such as rash, itchiness, swelling of the face or tongue and breathing difficulties
If you experience any of the following stop taking the medicine and talk to your doctor
o stomach upset and diarrhea
If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet
o Keep out of the reach and sight of children
o Store below 30°C
o Keep in the original pack to protect from light
o Do not take FLATICON after the expiry date printed on the pack. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month
o Do not throw any medicines via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicines you no longer use. These measures will help protect the environment

يحتوي هذا الدواء على:
سيميثيكون وهو مضاد للانتفاخ )يساعد على تقليل الريح المحتبس(
هذه الأقراص هي للتخفيف من الأعراض المرتبطة بإخراج الريح، وآلام الريح، والإنتفاخ و احتباس الريح .
لا تتناول فلاتيكون إذا كان لديك:
o حساسية من سيميثيكون أو أي من المكونات الأخرى.
يرجى مراجعة الطبيب أو الصيدلي قبل تناول هذا الدواء إذا كنت:
o لديك عدم قدرة على تحمل بعض السكريات.
o تتناول ليفوثيروكسين لاضطرابات الغدة الدرقية.
الحمل والرضاعة الطبيعية
o إذا كنتي حاما، راجعي الطبيب أو الصيدلي للحصول على المشورة قبل تناول هذه الأقراص. ويمكن تناولها إذا كنتي مرضعة.
معلومات عن بعض المكونات في هذا الدواء:
يحتوي على السوربيتول.إذا قيل لك من قبل طبيبك أن لديك عدم قدرة على تحمل بعض السكريات، اتصل بطبيبك قبل تناول هذا الدواء.
الأدوية الأخرى و أقراص فلاتيكون للمضغ
إذا كنت تتناول الليفوثيروكسين لعلاج اضطراب الغدة الدرقية، تناول دواء فلاتيكون قد يقلل من امتصاص هذا الدواء ويضعف تأثير العلاج.
تناول دائما هذا الدواء تماما حسب توجيهات طبيبك أو الصيدلي. استشر طبيبك أو الصيدلي إذا لم تكن متأكدا. تناول هذا الدواء عن طريق الفم.
امضغ القرص قبل البلع. تناول الدواء بعد وجبات الطعام أو عند النوم.
البالغين والمسنين والأطفال أكثر من 12 عاما:
3-2قرص، 3 أو 4 مرات في اليوم أو حسب الحاجة. لا تتناول أكثر من 500 ملجم خلال فترة 24 ساعة.
لا تعطي للأطفال دون سن 12 سنة.
لا تتجاوز الجرعة المحددة.
إذا استمرت الأعراض أو تفاقمت، يجب أن ترى الطبيب أو الصيدلي.
إذا تناولت الكثير من الأقراص عن طريق الخطأ، اتصل بطبيبك أو الصيدلي على الفور.
إذا كان لديك أي أسئلة أخرى حول استخدام هذا الدواء، اسأل طبيبك أو الصيدلي.
مثل جميع الأدوية ، يمكن أن يسبب فلاتيكون آثارا جانبية على الرغم من أن هذه الآثار لا تحدث لكل شخص.
إذا أصبح أي من الأعراض الجانبية خطرا، أو إذا لاحظت أي آثار جانبية غير مدرجة في هذه النشرة، فالرجاء إخبار الطبيب أو الصيدلي بذلك.
إذا عانيت أي من الأعراض التالية توقف عن استخدام الدواء وقم بطلب المساعدة الطبية
الفورية:
الحساسية مثل الطفح الجلدي، والحكة، وتورم في الوجه أو اللسان وصعوبات في التنفس.
إذا عانيت أي من الأعراض التالية توقف عن تناول الدواء وتحدث مع طبيبك:
o اضطراب في المعدة وإسهال.
إذا تعرضت لأي من الآثار الجانبية ، يرجى إخبار الطبيب أو الصيدلي و هذا يتضمن أي آثار جانبية محتملة غير مذكورة في هذه النشرة
o يحفظ بعيدا عن متناول أيدي ونظر الأطفال .
o يحفظ في درجة حرارة أقل من 30 درجة مئوية.
o يحفظ في العبوة الأصلية للحماية من الضوء.
o لا تتناول فلاتيكون بعد تاريخ انتهاء الصلاحية المدون على الشريط وعلى الكرتون. تاريخ انتهاء الصلاحية يشير إلى اليوم الأخير من هذا الشهر.
o لا تتخلص من أي أدوية عن طريق مياه الصرف الصحي أو النفايات المنزلية. اسأل الصيدلي عن كيفية التخلص من الأدوية التي لم تعد مطلوبة. هذه التدابير تساعد في حماية البيئة
المادة الفعالة هي سيميثيكون.
أقراص: يحتوي كل قرص على سيميثيكون بودرة ما يعادل سيميثيكون 40 ملجم أو 60 ملجم.
المواد الإضافية: كالسيوم فوسفيت، نشا الذرة 1500 )) ، سكارين صوديوم، مانيتول، كروسكارميللوز صوديوم، سوربيتول، بوفيدون (K30) ، نكهة النعناع P96511-71 ومغنيسيوم ستياريت
فلاتيكون 60 ملجم : قرص أبيض إلى أبيض داكن، دائري، مسطح، مع حواف مشطوفة، أقراص للمضغ غير مغلفة مع نقش "mc70” على جانب واحد وخط للكسر على الجانب الآخر مع رائحة النعناع. فلاتيكون 40 ملجم: قرص أبيض إلى أبيض داكن، دائري، محدب الوجهين، أقراص للمضغ غير مغلفة مع النقش "mc69” على جانب واحد وخط للكسر على الجانب الآخر مع رائحة النعناع. العبوة : تحتوي على 3 شرائط، كل شريط شفاف PVC-PVDC/ALU foil يحتوي على 10 أقراص.

Antiflatulent defoaming agent for the symptomatic relief of flatulence, wind pains, bloating, abdominal distension and other similar symptoms associated with gastrointestinal gas
Adults, elderly and children over 12 years
2-3tablet to be taken three or four times daily or as required for relief, after meals and upon retiring. The tablets are to be chewed before swallowing
If symptoms persist for more than 14 days, or if symptoms worsen, medical advice must be sought
Keep out of the reach and sight of children
Not to be taken by children under 12 years
This product contains lactose
Patients with rare heredity problems of galactose intolerance, the Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine
This product contains sorbitol
Patients with rare heredity problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucraseisomaltose insufficiency should not take this medicine
Levothyroxine may bind to the silica in simethicone which can impair the absorption of levothyroxine
Medical advice should be sought prior to taking this product if pregnant

Simethicone (activated dimethicone) is not absorbed following oral administration. It acts by changing the surface tension of gas bubbles, causing them to coalesce
Simethicone is physiologically inert and considered to be non-toxic. It is not absorbed following oral administration, nor is it pharmacologically active. Preclinical data reveal no hazard for humans
