This medicine contains a wind reliever and antacids, which can be used to relieve bloating and the pain of trapped wind. It can also be used to relieve the symptoms of indigestion, heartburn and excess acid.
Do not take Acical Plus Chewable Tablets
If you have:
- An allergy to Dihydroxyaluminium sodium carbonate, Simethicone or any of the other ingredients in this medicine (listed in section 6).
Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Acical Plus Chewable Tablets
· If you have kidney problems
· If you take other medicines – tetracycline antibiotics, chloroquine (to prevent malaria), quinolone antibiotics (e.g. ciprofloxacin), penicillamine (for rheumatoid arthritis), phenothiazines (e.g. chlorpromazine for mental problems)
· If you have low levels of phosphate in your blood
· If are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless your doctor tells you to
If Acical Plus Chewable Tablets has been prescribed for you by your doctor, follow any instructions he/she may have given you. If you purchased this product without a prescription, follow these directions closely:
Recommended dose
Adults and children of 12 years and over
One or two tablets, After meals, at bedtime, or when you need.
Children of 5 to 11 years
One tablet, After meals, at bedtime, or when you need.
Take this medicine by mouth
Suck or chew the tablets.
Do not give to children under 5 years.
If symptoms do not go away within 5 days talk to your doctor
If you take more Acical Plus Chewable Tablets than you should
You may feel sick or be sick. Talk to a pharmacist or doctor if this happens.
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

· Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
· Do not take this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton box and the blister after 'EXP'. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
· Do not Store above 30°C.
· Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicines you no longer use. These measures will help protect the environment.
What Acical Plus contains
Each Chewable Tablet contains
Active ingredients: Simethicone 20 mg (equivalent to 66 mg Sentry Simethicone) and Dihydroxyaluminium sodium carbonate 320 mg
Inactive ingredients:
Lactose monohydrate, Mannitol, Povidone, Saccharin sodium, Peppermint powder and Magnesium stearate

يحتوي هذا الدواء على طارد للغازات ومضاد للحموضة ، يمكن استخدامه لتخفيف الانتفاخ والآلام المصاحبة لاحتجاز الغازات. ويمكن أيضا أن يستخدم لتخفيف أعراض عسر الهضم، وحرقة المعدة، والحموضة الزائدة.
لا تستخدم أقراص أسيكال بلس
إذا كانت لديك:
· حساسية من مادة سيميثيكون أو ثنائي هيدروكسيد ألومنيوم صوديوم كربونات أو أي مكوّن آخر من مكوّنات أسيكال بلس (المدرجة في القسم 6).
· إذا كانت لديك أي مشكلة أخرى في الجلد من المحتمل أنه تصبح أسوأ خصوصا الوردية (وهو مرض في الجلد يؤثر على الوجه)، وحب الشباب، التهاب الجلد حول الفم، حكة الأعضاء التناسلية ، وطفح الحفاض، وقروح الزكام، جدري الماء أو الأمراض الجلدية الأخرى.
المحاذير والإحتياطات
تحدث إلى طبيبك أو الصيدلي قبل استخدام أقراص أسيكال بلس
· إذا كان لديك مشاكل في الكلى
· إذا كنت تأخذ أدوية أخرى – المضادات الحيوية التتراسيكلين, الكلوروكين (لمنع الملاريا)، المضادات الحيوية الكينولون (مثل سيبروفلوكساسين)، البنسيلامين (لالتهاب المفاصل الروماتويدي)، فينوثيازين (مثل الكلوربرومازين لعلاج المشاكل العقلية)
· • إذا كان لديك مستويات منخفضة من الفوسفات في الدم
· إذا كنتِ حاملا أو مرضعة، إلا إذا أوصي طبيبك بغير ذلك
إذا وصف لك طبيبك أقراص أسيكال بلس، فاتبع أي تعليمات قد يكون قد أعطاها لك. إذا اشتريت هذا المنتج بدون وصفة طبية، فاتبع التعليمات التالية عن كثب:
الجرعة المُوصى بها
البالغين والأطفال من 12 سنة وما فوق
قرص أو قرصين، بعد الوجبات، أو في وقت النوم، أو عندما تحتاج إلى ذلك.
الأطفال من 5 إلى 11 سنة
قرص واحد، بعد الوجبات، أو في وقت النوم، أو عندما تحتاج إلى ذلك.
تناول هذا الدواء عن طريق الفم
يمكن مص الأقراص أو مضغها.
لا يعطي للأطفال دون سن الخامسة.
إذا لم تزول الأعراض خلال 5 أيام تحدث إلى طبيبك.
إذا كنت تتناول أقراص أسيكال بلس أكثر مما ينبغي
إذا مرضت أو شعرت بالمرض.. تحدث إلى الصيدلي أو الطبيب إذا حدث ذلك.
إذا كان لديك أي أسئلة أخرى عن استخدام الدواء، اسأل الطبيب أو الصيدلي.
كما هو الحال مع جميع الأدوية، يمكن أن يسبّب هذا الدواء بعض الأعراض الجانبية، مع العلم أنها لا تصيب الجميع.

· يحفظ بعيدًا عن رؤية و متناول الأطفال.
· لا تستعمل هذا الدواء بعد انتهاء مدّة الصلاحية المدوّنة على العلبة والشريط بعد كلمة (EXP). يشير تاريخ انتهاء الصلاحية إلى اليوم الأخير من نفس الشهر.
· يُحفظ في درجة حرارة لا تزيد عن 30 درجة مئوية.
· يجب عدم التخلّص من الأدوية عن طريق مياه الصرف الصحي أو النفايات المنزلية. اسأل الصيدلي عن كيفية التخلّص من الأدوية التي لم تعد بحاجة إليها. فهذه التدابير تساعد في حماية البيئة.
ماهي محتويات أسيكال بلس
كل قرص يحتوي على
المواد الفعالة: سيميثيكون 20 مجم (ما يعادل 66 مجم سيميثيكون سينتري)، ثنائي هيدروكسيد ألومنيوم صوديوم كربونات 320 مجم

أحادي هيدرات اللاكتوز، مانيتول، بوفيدون، سكارين الصوديوم، مسحوق النعناع ، وستيرات المغنيسيوم
أسيكال بلس هو عبارة عن قرص منكه لونه أبيض إلى أوف وايت، مسطح، دائري، مزركش، ذو حواف مشطوفة، منقوش "BP3" علي جانب واحد من القرص
تتوفر أقراص أسيكال بلس في عبوة بحجم 30 قرصًا
تتوفر أقراص أسيكال بلس في علبة كرتونية تحتوي على 3 شرائط؛ يحتوي كل منها علي 10 أقراص، مرفقة مع نشرة معلومات للمريض

For relief from discomfort of painful wind, indigestion, heartburn and excess acidity.
For oral administration.
Adults and children over 12 years:
One or two tablets to be sucked or chewed after meals, at bedtime or whenever discomfort is felt.
Children 5 to 12 years:
One tablet to be sucked or chewed after meals, at bedtime or whenever discomfort is felt.
Children under 5 years: Not recommended.
Elderly: There is no need for dosage reduction in the elderly.
This product should be used with caution in patients with impaired renal function.
If symptoms persist for more than 5 days, consult your doctor.
Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
This product may interfere with the absorption of tetracyclines, chloroquine, penicillamine, phenothiazines and quinolone antibacterials, when these are given concomitantly.
There are no adequate human data from the use of aluminium hydroxide in pregnant women. Studies in animals have not been done. No data are available to suggest any harmful effects in pregnant women, associated with simethicone. Caution should therefore be exercised when taken by pregnant women.
Although some aluminium may be secreted in breast milk, the concentration is too small to be harmful. Secretion of simethicone in the breast milk of nursing mothers has not been established but would be most unlikely
No adverse effects known.
May occasionally cause diarrhoea or constipation, although the combination of magnesium and aluminium salts minimises these gastrointestinal effects.

Excessive prolonged use of topical corticosteroids can suppress pituitary-adrenal functions resulting in Symptoms of overdosage include nausea, vomiting, gastrointestinal irritation, diarrhoea/constipation. Treatment should be symptomatic and supportive.
Aluminium hydroxide has antacid properties and is used to neutralise gastric acid. Activated methylpolysiloxane (simethicone) has anti-foaming/deflatulent activity by virtue of its ability to change the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby causing them to coalesce.
Aluminium hydroxide reacts with hydrochloric acid in the stomach to form aluminium chloride, some of which is absorbed. Absorbed aluminium is eliminated in the urine. The majority of aluminium remains in the gastrointestinal tract and forms insoluble poorly absorbed aluminium salts including hydroxide, phosphate, carbonate and fatty acid derivatives, which are excreted in the faeces.
There is no data availability on the pharmacokinetics of activated methylpolysiloxane.
There are no pre-clinical data of relevance to the prescriber which are additional to that already included in other sections of the SPC.
