Read this leaflet carefully before you start using this product as it contains important information for you

1. NAME OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT

Acid Concentrate for Bicarbonate Haemodialysis KSP-03

2. QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION

Each 1 litre of concentrate solution contains: Sodium Chloride 263.00 g Calcium Chloride 2H2O 9.92 g Magnesium Chloride 6H2O 3.43 g Acetic Acid 5.42 g Dextrose Monohydrate 99.00 g (For full list of excipients, see section 6.1). One litre of concentrate solution when diluted with 44 litres of Deionized water will give the following composition: Na + 100.00 mmol/L Ca ++ 1.50 mmol/L Mg ++ 0.375 mmol/L Cl - 103.75 mmol/L CH3COO - 2.00 mmol/L Dextrose 11.1 mmol/L Theor. Osmolarity 219 mOsml/L

A clear solution with a slight odour of acetic acid and practically free from any visible particles Not for Injection

§ Use only when container is intact and solution free from solid particles.

§ To be used within (12) hours after opening.

§ Dilute immediately before use.

§ After use, discard residues.

§ Always check the concentration of the ready-to-use haemodialysis solution.

§ The ionic content of the purified water used for dilution must be taken into consideration.

· Keep in a safe place, out of the reach and sight of children.

· Store at room temperature (25º C), protect from light & freezing.

Pyrogen free.

White polyethylene container of 5 litre capacity provided with stopper. The canister has graduated markings.
