Apiflox eye drops contains an antibiotic which is Norfloxacin it is used to treat
bacterial infections of the eyes. Do not use Apiflox .If you have a viral or fungal
infection in your eye. It is used to treat infections caused by bacteria only.
Do not take Apiflox
If you are sensitive to any of the ingredient of Apiflox.
Driving and using machine
Use caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardous
activities. Apiflox may cause blurred vision. If you experience blurred vision, avoid
these activities.
Important information about some of the ingredient of Apiflox:
This product contains Benzalkonium chloride as a preservative, may cause eye
irritation.
Pregnant or breast feeding :
It is not known whether Apiflox will harm an unborn baby. Do not use Apiflox
without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant. It is also not known whether
norfloxacin ophthalmic passes into breast milk. Do not use Apiflox without first
talking to your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.
The recommended dose in adults and pediatric patients (One year and older):Instill 1
or 2 drops to the affected eye(s) 4times daily for up to 7 days.
For severe infections: instill 1 or 2 drops to the affected eye(s) every 2 hours.
If anyone has too much.
An overdose of this medication is unlikely to occur. If you do suspect an overdose,
wash the eye with water and call an emergency room. If the drops have been ingested,
drink plenty of fluid and call an emergency center for advice.
If you are using Apiflox to treat a corneal ulcer, you may notice a whitish buildup on
the ulcer. This means that the medication is working; it is not a harmful development.
Commonly, some eye burning, stinging, irritation, itching, redness, blurred vision,
eyelid itching, eyelid swelling or crusting, a bad taste in your mouth, tearing, or
sensitivity to light may occur.
Don’t store above 30 ºC, protect from light and store in a dry place, and discard bottle
4 weeks after opening .
The active ingredient in Apiflox: Norfloxacin 3 mg/ml.
Other ingredients are: Sodium acetate, Sodium chloride, Sodium edetate,
Hydrochloric acid and Benzalkonium chloride 0.1 mg\ml as preservative.

قطرة العين ابيفلوكس ھي مضاد حيوي. النورفلوكساسين يستخدم لعلاج الالتھابات البكتيرية للعيون. لا تستخدم
ابيفلوكس إذا كان لديك عدوى فيروسية أو فطرية في العين. وھو يستخدم لعلاج الإلتھابات التي تسببھا البكتيريا فقط.
لا تستخدم أبيفلوكس:
إذا كنت تعاني من حساسية لأي من مكونات أبيفلوكس .
القيادة و استخدام الآلات:
كن حذرا عند قيادة السيارة ، تشغيل الآلات، أو أداء أنشطة خطرة أخرى. ابيفلوكس للعيون قد يسبب عدم وضوح
الرؤية. إذا واجھت عدم وضوح الرؤية، تجنب ھذه الأنشطة
اذا كنتي حاملاً أو مرضعة: من غير المعروف ما إذا كان ابيفلوكس سوف يلحق الضرر بالجنين. لا تستخدم
ابيفلوكس أولا من دون التحدث مع طبيبك إذا كنت حاملا. كما أنه ليس من المعروف ما إذا كان ابيفلوكس يدخل في
حليب الثدي. لا تستخدم ابيفلوكس أولا من دون التحدث مع طبيبك إذا كانت الرضاعة طبيعية للطفلك
الجرعة: الجرعة الموصى بھا بالنسبة للكبار و الأطفال (سنة واحدة وما فوق) : يقطر 1-2 قطرة من أبيفلوكس في العين المصابة اربع مرات يوميا لمدة تصل إلى 7 أيام.
إذا استخدمت جرعة زائدة:
الجرعة الزائدة من ھذا الدواء ليس من المرجح أن تحدث. إذا كنت تشك في جرعة زائدة، إغسل العين بالماء واتصل
بغرفة الطوارئ. إذا تم بلعھا، اشرب الكثير من السوائل واتصل بمركز الطوارئ للحصول على المشورة.
إذا كنت تستخدم أبيفلوكس لعلاج قرحة القرنية، قد تلاحظ تراكم اللون الأبيض على القرحة. وھذا يعني أن الدواء
يعمل، ولا يعني تفاقم المرض. قد يحدث عادة، حرقة العين، تھيج ، حكة، احمرار، عدم وضوح الرؤية، حكة الجفن ،
تورم أو تقشر الجفن، طعم سيئ في الفم وتدميع ، أو الحساسية للضوء.
يحفظ بدرجة حراره لا تتجاوز 30 درجة مئوية ، و يجب حفظھا قي مكان جاف وبعيدا عن الضوء، والتخلص مما
تبقى من المحلول بعد مضي أربعة اسابيع من فتح العبوة.
المادة الفعالة في أبيفلوكس: نورفلوكساسين 3 ملغم/مل .
المكونات الأخرى: أسيتيت الصوديوم، كلوريد الصوديوم، ايديتيت الصوديوم، حمض الھيدروكلوريك و كلوريد
البنزالكونيوم كمادة حافظة.
ملاحظة: إن ھذا المستحضر المعد للإستعمال للعين يحتوي على المادة الحافظة كلوريد البنزالكونيوم والتي يمكن أن
تحدث ترسباً على العدسات اللاصقة الطرية وعليه يجب ألا يستعمل ھذا المستحضر أثناء استعمال العدسات اللاصقة
المذكورة. كما يجب نزع العدسات اللاصقة الطرية قبل استخدام ھذا المستحضر مع إمكانية وضعھا في العين بعد 15
دقيقة من استعماله للعين.
التعبئة: عبوة بلاستيكية مزودة بقطارة سعة 10 مل.

Apiflox is a sterile eye drop in a plastic bottle. Each carton contains 1 plastic bottle
