Balanced Salt Solution 500mL contains mineral salts. It is an irrigating solution.
Indicated for all eye, ear, nose and/or throat irrigating, washing & rinsing purposes which permits the use of a sterile , non-pyrogenic electrolyte solution.
NOT FOR INJECTION OR INTRAVENOUS INFUSION.
· Do not use unless product is clear, seal is intact, vacuum is present and container is undamaged.
· Do not use if product is discolored or contains a precipitate.
· SINGLE patient use only. The contents of this bottle should not be used in more than one patient.
· This solution contains no preservative, unused contents should be discarded.
PRECAUTIONS: Open under aseptic conditions only.
Aseptic technique is essential with the use of sterile solution for irrigation of body cavities, wounds and for wetting dressings that come in contact with body tissues. When used for irrigation via irrigation equipment, the administration set should be attached promptly. Unused portions should be discarded and a fresh container of appropriate size used for the start-up of each cycle or repeat procedure.
Discard unused content. Do not use this container for more than one patient. Do not use additives with this product.
This irrigating solution should be used according to standard format for each surgical procedure.
Note: Use an administration set with an air-inlet in the plastic spike since the bottle does not contain a separate airway tube. Follow directions of the particular administration set to be used. Remove the flip-off cap. Clean and disinfect the rubber stopper by using a sterile alcohol wipe. Insert the spike aseptically into the bottle through the target area of the rubber stopper. Allow the fluid to flow and remove air from the tubing before irrigation begins.
The dose is dependent upon the capacity or surface area of the structure to be irrigated and the nature of the procedure.
Drug interaction:
Additives may be incompatible. Consult with pharmacist, if available when introducing additives, use aseptic technique, mix thoroughly, and do not store.
Irrigation or any other trauma may result in corneal swelling or bullous keratopathy.
Post-operative inflammatory reactions as well as incidents of corneal edema and corneal decompensation have been reported.

Store below 30 °C.
Once the infusion bottle has been opened (rubber stopper perforated) the solution should be used
immediately in order to prevent any bacterial contamination.
Do not use this medicine if you notice that the solution is not clear, and/or has particles in it.
Each mL containing Sodium Chloride 0.64%, Potassium Chloride 0.075%, Calcium Chloride Dihydrate 0.048%, Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate 0.03%, Sodium Acetate trihydrate 0.39%, Sodium Citrate Dihydrate 0.17%, and water for injection.

يحتوي محلول الملح المتوازن 500 مل على أملاح معدنية. وهو محلول غسول.
يمكن استخدام محلول الملح المتوازن 500 مل:
للاستخدام كمحلول غسول للعين والأذن و الأنف و/أو الحنجرة و يعتبر بشكل عام مناسب للنسيج والأعضاء الحية.
ليس للحقن أو التسريب.
• لا تستخدم المنتج ما لم يكن شفافا و خاليا من الشوائب وتكون العبوة غير تالفة.
• لا تستخدم المنتج إذا تغير لونه أو يحتوي على راسب.
• استخدام مرة واحدة فقط. لا ينبغي استخدام محتويات هذه العبوة لأكثر من مريض واحد.
• لا يحتوي هذا المحلول على مواد حافظة ، ويجب التخلص من المحتويات غير المستخدمة.
الاحتياطات: يفتح في ظل ظروف معقمة فقط.
• تشير الدراسات إلى أن محاليل الغسول داخل العين التي تكون متساوية التناضحي مع سوائل مائية طبيعية يجب أن تستخدم بحذر في مرضى السكري الذين يخضعون لاستئصال الزجاجية حيث لوحظت تغيرات في العدسة أثناء العملية.
• كانت هناك تقارير عن تغيم القرنية ووذمة بعد جراحة العين التي تم فيها استخدام محلول الغسول المعقم كمحلول للغسول.
يجب استخدام محلول الغسول هذا وفقًا للطريقة المتبعة لكل تدخل جراحي.
قم بإزالة الغطاء القابل للطي. قم بتنظيف وتعقيم السدادة المطاطية باستخدام منديل معقم بالكحول. أدخل الأنبوب المناسب بشكل معقم في العبوة من خلال المنطقة المستهدفة للسدادة المطاطية. اسمح للسائل بالتدفق وإزالة الهواء من الأنبوب قبل بدء الغسول.
تفاعل الدواء:
قد تكون المواد المضافة غير متوافقة. استشر الصيدلي ، إذا كان متاحًا عند اضافة مواد اخرى للمحلول، استخدم تقنية التعقيم ، واخلط جيدًا ، ولا تخزن.
قد يؤدي الغسول إلى تورم القرنية أو اعتلال القرنية الفقاعي.
تم الإبلاغ عن ردود الأفعال الالتهابية بعد الجراحة وكذلك حوادث وذمة القرنية وتعويض القرنية.
